The Chandrakor has long been a cherished motif in Maharashtrian jewellery traditions—seen adorning women in the courts of Peshwa-era Pune, and later becoming an enduring symbol of grace in Paithani and traditional festive attire. The crescent represents shanta-bhava—a quiet, luminous strength—carried through generations.
Our contemporary interpretation of the chandrakor is handcrafted in 92.5 hallmarked silver. The crescent form is sculpted using hand-carved wax casting, followed by detailed polishing and patina work to bring out soft depth.
Lightweight yet striking, this piece pairs naturally with handloom sarees, mulmul kurtas, silks, and evening gatherings.
