Devika Silver Ring
Handcrafted
Details
Handcrafted in 92.5 sterling silver, this ring features a traditional phool-motiff—a flower form sculpted using doki and daana ka kaam (hand-formed granules and petals). Each silver bead (rava/ daana) is individually rolled, placed, and torch-fused to the base—a slow technique found in heirloom silverwork across Rajasthan and Kutch.
The central dome is shaped using the dapping method, where silver sheet is gently hammered into a curved form, then surrounded by petal-like elements that are hand-carved and filed to create soft highlights and shadows.
The finish is kept matte-oxidised to enhance the relief work—allowing the raised petals and beads to catch light softly, without shine that overwhelms.
A piece that feels rooted and timeless—meant to be worn daily, layered, and lived-in.
